Salary: £12.90 per hour + Paid Breaks and excellent Bupa benefits
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time (25 hours per week)
Shift Patterns: Flexible hours, either 09:00 - 14:00 or 09:30 - 14:30, including alternate weekends

We are partnering with Richmond Villages Painswick (part of Bupa) to find a friendly and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant. In this role, you will be the unsung hero of the village, maintaining pristine standards across public areas, facilities, and resident properties to keep our community shining and residents beaming with pride.
What You’ll Be Doing
Ensuring care home facilities, public areas, and individual resident properties are maintained to the highest cleaning standards.
Operating vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and carpet shampooers while sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors.
Cleaning carpets, upholstery, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills, and keeping bins emptied regularly.
Managing communal and resident laundry (including washing, drying, and ironing clothing and bedding).
Reporting safety hazards immediately and adhering strictly to Health, Safety, and COSHH guidelines at all times.
What We’re Looking For
Ideally, prior experience in a housekeeping or domestic cleaning role, coupled with a basic understanding of infection control and COSHH compliance.
A friendly, approachable demeanor with a talent for building lasting, professional relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
Meticulous attention to detail, a strong sense of pride in your work, and solid cross-functional teamwork skills.
