We are currently recruiting a reliable and friendly Kitchen Assistant on behalf of Barchester Healthcare for Moreton Hill Care Centre in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial part in delivering nutritious, high-quality meals and an exceptional dining experience for residents. This permanent part-time position offers a varied, rewarding daily routine where your work directly impacts resident wellbeing and hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the culinary team with basic food preparation and meal service.

• Maintain clean, hygienic, and safe kitchen workstations, dining areas, and food preparation equipment.

• Support mealtime routines and help create a pleasant, welcoming dining environment for residents.

• Interact warmly with residents and colleagues, getting to know their personal preferences and dietary needs.

• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation guidelines.

• Experience: No formal qualifications required; prior experience in a commercial or care home kitchen is helpful, but full training will be provided.
