About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Morrisons to recruit a natural leader and people-person for their Service Team Leader position in Chorley.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind the front-end service operations. Whether you are supporting checkout colleagues via headsets, analyzing dashboards to optimize the customer experience, or coordinating day-to-day front-end activities across checkouts, kiosks, customer service desks, and car parks, you will ensure a fast, efficient, and friendly environment. It is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced retail professional or an ambitious customer assistant ready to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Be a visible, supportive leadership presence across all front-end service operations.

• Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team to deliver outstanding customer service.

• Utilize dashboards and reports to make operational decisions, root-cause issues, and implement corrective actions.

• Coordinate day-to-day communication and operations across checkouts, customer service desks, kiosks, petrol stations (where applicable), and car parks.

• Ensure all company policies, procedures, and legal obligations—including cash handling—are strictly followed.

• Experience in developing teams and driving high performance.

• Strong operational and technical knowledge of retail service departments.

• Able to effectively plan, organize, and manage workloads while meeting strict deadlines.

• Fully flexible availability, including required evenings and weekends.

• Must be over the school leaver’s age.
