As a Market Street Baker at Morrisons, you are the face of our fresh in-store bakery. You will bring traditional skills to life, preparing and baking a variety of fresh bread, rolls, doughnuts, and fruited products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure customer confidence in the availability of fresh bakery products.
Maintain quality, fresh, and attractive food displays throughout the trading day to promote sales.
Prepare bakery products to company specification using appropriate equipment (e.g., provers, ovens, mixers) and competent baking skills.
Deliver outstanding, friendly, and helpful service, creating moments that matter for our customers and highlighting our traditional fresh offerings.
Work flexibly across other fresh counters to ensure our customers are fully catered for across Market Street.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Possesses competent baker skills, with the ability to mix and mould dough to make quality bakery products.
Has a naturally helpful, friendly, and supportive style, loves meeting new people, and goes above and beyond for customers.
Enjoys being active and working in a fast-paced, varied environment.
Likes to use their own initiative to support and resolve customer queries.
Can safely use a range of equipment while maintaining the highest standards of Health and Safety.
