Kitchen Assistant (Day)

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Bowerfield Court for a Kitchen Assistant (Day) to join their team in Disley, UK.

In this role, you will be a key link between the kitchen and residents, assisting chefs with basic food preparation and maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards. Working in a dedicated catering team, you will help deliver nutritious, high-quality meals while adhering to Food Standard and Health & Safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with basic meal preparation, plating, and setting up food trolleys for residents.

• Maintain clean preparation areas and follow strict kitchen hygiene and washing-up schedules.

• Serve as an effective communication link between the kitchen team and residents during meal times.

Requirements

• Strong communication, task prioritization, and organizational skills under kitchen pressure.

• Dedicated, reliable approach with a genuine interest in working within a care home setting.

• Right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance of Disley, UK.
