Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with community leisure trusts and major operators to connect customer-focused fitness professionals with rewarding supervisory roles. We are currently recruiting a dedicated Leisure Supervisor to join the team on behalf of The Maidstone Leisure Trust at Maidstone Leisure Centre.
In this vital role, you will help create a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for everyone who visits the centre. Supporting day-to-day facility operations and stepping in for the Duty Manager when required, your work directly encourages healthier lifestyles and ensures leisure facilities remain accessible and engaging for the whole community.
What You’ll Do
As a Leisure Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
Facility Supervision: Oversee daily activities within the centre, ensuring customer safety and outstanding service standards at all times.
Operational Cover: Support the Duty Manager and provide operational cover during periods of absence.
Presentation & Maintenance: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and equipment setup across all facilities.
Health & Safety: Promote and adhere strictly to all health and safety procedures, policies, and relevant legislation.
Relationship Building: Build positive, supportive relationships with customers and local authority partners to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
What You’re Looking For
Customer Care: Experience working in a customer-facing environment with a strong commitment to service excellence.
Composure: The ability to remain calm, responsive, and vigilant in busy or challenging situations.
Communication: Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with people of all ages and abilities.
Desirable Qualifications: A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (or equivalent) and previous supervisory experience are advantageous.
Vetting and Checks
This role requires an Enhanced DBS check (covering spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and relevant police information) in accordance with safeguarding guidelines, alongside an Occupational Health Questionnaire.
