We are acting on behalf of Alliance Medical Ltd—Europe's leading independent provider of imaging services—to recruit a skilled and motivated Administrator / Healthcare Assistant to join their dynamic team at Northampton General Hospital.
In this dual-focused role, you will be the welcoming face and voice of the service, meeting and greeting patients while coordinating essential telephone bookings. 1. Patient Interaction & Reception
Meet and greet patients attending the imaging services, providing a warm, compassionate, and professional patient-facing experience.
Make telephone bookings for patients, handling inquiries efficiently and communicating clearly with a diverse range of individuals.
Offer reassurance and support to patients, families, and carers throughout their visit.
2. Administration & Systems Management
Maintain well-organised electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring accurate data entry and meticulous record-keeping.
Utilise Microsoft Office and internal IT systems effectively to manage schedules, correspondence, and patient information.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, multi-tasking effectively and maintaining composure under pressure.
Essential Criteria
IT & Admin Skills: Strong IT literacy, proven experience using Microsoft Office, and the ability to organise and manage computer files and filing systems.
Communication & Customer Service: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrable background in delivering high-quality customer service in a patient-facing or professional environment.
Competencies: Highly organised, enthusiastic, and flexible, with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Vetting: Ability to successfully complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
