Pay Rate: £21.75 per hour (+ Paid Breaks)
Contract Type: Bank Contract (Flexible 12-hour shifts on days and nights, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
As a Bank Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial leadership role, managing medical and personal care, overseeing medication, monitoring health conditions, and leading a team of Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants to ensure residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Clinical Excellence: Take full responsibility for resident well-being, carrying out assessments and developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor your care team, providing clinical guidance and delivering training to ensure the safe, efficient day-to-day running of the home.
Safety & Compliance: Monitor work areas throughout your shift to ensure they remain safe and conform strictly to relevant standards, policies, and legislation.
Holistic Support: Provide compassionate emotional support and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to promote resident independence, choice, and dignity.
Registration: A valid NMC pin with a genuine commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct and professional development.
Approach: A positive, energetic, and naturally caring hands-on attitude with a flair for empowering residents to maintain their independence.
Communication: Effective interpersonal skills to build strong, honest relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
