In this role, you will take a lead clinical role in managing operating theatre activities while upholding exceptional perioperative care standards. You will guide junior team members, ensure strict compliance with health governance regulations, and deliver compassionate patient-centered care throughout the surgical process.
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will take charge of operating theatres, coordinating workflows and ensuring optimal patient safety and team support. By mentoring colleagues and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, you will drive clinical excellence and maintain a secure, high-standard surgical environment.
Take charge of theatre operations, coordinating daily activities, managing clinical resources, and leading junior practitioners.
Maintain rigorous compliance with national governance standards, CQC regulations, and internal safety frameworks.
Provide compassionate, high-quality perioperative care to patients while fostering strong collaborative relationships across clinical teams.
Active professional registration with HCPC or NMC along with relevant practitioner qualifications (SFA qualification preferred).
Substantial post-registration clinical experience within operating theatre environments.
Proven leadership, communication, and team management abilities in a high-intensity healthcare setting.
