• Client Partner: ELM Alliance LTD (representing a federation of GP practices across South Tees covering over 400,000 patients)

• Locations: One Life, Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough, TS1 3QY & Redcar Primary Care Hospital, West Dyke Road, Redcar, TS10 4NW

• Hourly Pay: £37.75 per hour (includes premium rates for weekend work; FTE equivalent approx. £73,612)

• Contract Type: Permanent / Part-Time (operating on weekday evenings and Saturday daytimes)

About the Role Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with ELM Alliance LTD to source an autonomous Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) for their extended access primary care service. Operating similarly to a traditional in-hours general practice setting, you will provide high-quality, timely, patient-centered care for a diverse patient population spanning all age groups (from neonates to the elderly).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct autonomous face-to-face and telephone consultations, seeing pre-booked appointments for minor illnesses and minor injuries.

• Assess, diagnose, treat, refer, and discharge patients independently within your scope of competence and agreed clinical pathways.

• Provide chronic disease management (for qualified ANPs) and perform clinical interventions such as administering dressings.

• Prescribe, supply, and administer medicines to meet patient needs while maintaining complete and accurate clinical records.

• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary and multi-agency teams, supporting clinical governance, audits, and mentorship where required.

Person Specification & Requirements

• Essential Qualifications: Current UK professional registration (NMC), a valid Paediatric Certificate, and an Independent Prescriber's Certificate.

• Desirable Qualifications: Master's degree in a relevant clinical field.

• Core Competencies: Advanced clinical competence beyond standard nursing roles; exceptional communication and decision-making skills; ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative hub team.

• Compliance: Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required.
