The Role

Looking for a role where no two days are the same? On behalf of our partner client, we are seeking reliable, proactive Store Assistants to join a fast-paced, friendly store team in Oakham.

As a Store Assistant, you’ll be right at the heart of the store. From welcoming shoppers and keeping shelves stocked to handling cash register transactions efficiently, your work will directly contribute to delivering a great shopping experience for the local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Care: Provide friendly, prompt, and helpful service to every customer.

• Merchandising & Stock: Receive deliveries, stock shelves efficiently, and check product quality to ensure high store standards.

• Checkout Operations: Operate tills accurately and efficiently.

• Teamwork: Work alongside colleagues to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.

• Experience: Previous retail experience is a bonus, but comprehensive training will be provided!

• Shift Times: Shifts can start as early as 6:00 AM and finish as late as 10:00 PM (store schedules vary). Please ensure you have reliable transport to and from Lands End Way, Oakham for these shift times.
