We are currently recruiting a dedicated Lifeguard to join the team on behalf of Leisure Solutions Community Trust at the iconic Stoke Mandeville Stadium in Aylesbury.
In this vital role, you will ensure that every visitor can use the pool safely and enjoy a welcoming, clean, and friendly environment. Without you, pool activities simply can’t happen—making your vigilance, customer care, and life-saving skills essential to the heart of our leisure centre.
What You’ll Do
As a Lifeguard, your responsibilities will include:
Pool Safety & Supervision: Maintain constant vigilance over pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and respond effectively to emergencies when needed.
Customer Care: Interact warmly with customers of all ages and backgrounds, providing a helpful, inclusive, and professional service.
Facility Maintenance: Maintain high standards of cleanliness around the pool area and ensure the safe handling, setup, and storage of pool equipment.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with a close-knit, supportive team to deliver a seamless and engaging leisure experience for the community.
What We Are Looking For
Essential Qualification: It is essential that you hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (RLSS).
Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal skills with proven experience in a customer-facing environment (leisure or retail).
Core Attributes: Safety-conscious, vigilant, calm under pressure, and equipped with strong swimming abilities.
Vetting and Checks
This role requires a DBS check in accordance with safeguarding requirements.
