Location: Cepen Lodge Care Home, West Cepen Way, Chippenham, SN14 6UZ (Supporting homes across a 20-mile radius; own car or ready access to one required)
Pay Rate: £14.81 per hour (Mileage covered when traveling over 5 miles from your main home)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 36.00 hours per week
Shifts: Mixed (Days/Nights)

About the Role
As a Peripatetic Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will deliver warm, empathetic, and respectful care and support across a 20-mile radius to help residents get the most out of life. Your varied and rewarding duties will include:
Monitoring the delivery of care when on duty and contributing to the person-centred care planning process.
Recording vital observations such as temperature and blood pressure.
Providing daily support, meaningful companionship, and dedicated one-to-one time during every single shift.
Traveling flexibly between regional care homes to ensure continuous high standards of support.
About You
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate care professional with a passion for people. To join us, you will need:
A background in care with a good understanding of elderly care.
A Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care (desirable) and a solid understanding of the wider healthcare industry.
Ideally, a GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
A full UK driving licence and your own car (or ready access to one) to travel across the local region.
