Role Overview
As an Area Manager, you will stand at the forefront of Lidl's future growth, learning the business from the inside out—starting right on the shop floor as a Customer Assistant and Store Manager before stepping up to coordinate multiple store locations. You will serve as a pillar of support for your Store Managers, helping them mentor their teams, hit ambitious KPIs, and ensure that every store runs like absolute clockwork.
Core Responsibilities:
Store Oversight: Regularly visit your stores to guarantee maximum efficiency, productivity, and operational compliance.
Mentorship & Development: Mentor and support your Store Managers in recruiting, training, and developing high-performing teams while enhancing overall store performance.
KPI Empowerment: Empower your teams to achieve their key performance indicators and maintain Lidl's exceptionally high standards.

What We Are Looking For
To excel in this high-impact senior leadership role, you should bring a robust blend of multi-site experience, analytical skill, and strategic vision:
Multi-Site Leadership: Proven, hands-on experience successfully motivating and leading teams across multiple locations to achieve outstanding commercial results.
Analytical Acumen: The ability to interpret complex operational reports, design clear next steps, and oversee the execution of new business initiatives.
Drive & Adaptability: An innate drive to learn, grow, and stay up to date with the ever-changing aspects of a dynamic retail business.
Effective Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to guide and support your teams through new product launches, concepts, and processes.
Driving Licence: A full UK Driving Licence.
