Working as a permanent Activities Assistant through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will deliver imaginative and varied activities to ensure residents enjoy a motivational and fulfilling environment. Your role will involve helping coordinate an entertainment programme spanning social pastimes, outings, and events—helping every resident live as independently as possible and strengthening connections with family, friends, and the local community.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
Deliver imaginative, fun, and varied daily activities and entertainment programmes.
Help residents pursue their favorite hobbies, interests, and pastimes.
Organize social activities, community events, and outings.
Encourage and support resident independence and engagement with family, friends, and the local community.

No specific prior experience required—you can come from any background!
A strong sense of fun, creativity, and the ability to encourage and motivate others.
Enthusiastic, empathetic, and genuinely interested in supporting people.
