Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Avery Healthcare to recruit a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Wellbeing and Activities Assistant for Seagrave House Care Home in Corby.
In this rewarding role, you will work closely with the Wellbeing Coordinator to deliver a wide variety of engaging and stimulating activities designed to enhance our residents' physical, cognitive, and social wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe living and working environment while championing the positive, professional image of the home.
Report any changes in residents' physical or emotional health to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and care staff.
Help order, prepare, and organize supplies and materials for upcoming activities and events as directed.
Establish and nurture connections with the local community (such as schools, spiritual groups, and libraries/museums) to encourage access to the wider community and promote intergenerational activities.

What We Are Looking For:
Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Empathy & Understanding: A clear understanding of how meaningful social interaction impacts the overall wellbeing of older adults.
Experience: Previous experience working with older people within a residential nursing or dementia care setting.
Passion: A genuinely positive attitude toward elderly care and a commitment to providing high-quality, stimulating social events.
