Location: Cepen Lodge Care Home, West Cepen Way, Chippenham, SN14 6UZ (Working across three different regional homes; paid mileage included)
Pay Rate: £16.11 per hour
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 36.00 hours per week
Shifts: Mixed (Days/Nights, including flexibility for bank holidays and weekends)
Closing Date: 1 September 2026
About the Role
As a Regional Peripatetic Senior Carer at Barchester Healthcare, you will look after the diverse needs of our residents across three regional homes to deliver exceptional, person-centred care. Your leadership and clinical responsibilities will include:
Carrying out clinical tasks such as taking blood pressure and monitoring resident health.
Leading and inspiring your colleagues, introducing fresh ideas, and ensuring every day is fulfilling for staff and residents alike.
Monitoring, reviewing, and helping plan resident care pathways, risk assessments, and care plans.
Embracing a flexible working pattern across multiple locations within the region.
About You
We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and resilient care professional ready to take on a regional leadership role. To join us, you will need:
A Level 2 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Previous care experience, ideally working with older people.
Strong communication skills, natural team leadership abilities, and a drive for continuous personal and clinical development.
A full UK driving licence and regular access to transport to support all homes in the region.
Comfortable with long shifts that may involve standing for extended periods.
