In this role, you will be dedicated to assisting clinical staff in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care both pre- and post-surgery.
Working on a flexible bank contract, you will support ward operations on an ad-hoc schedule to suit facility requirements. Working alongside Registered Nurses and consultants, you will combine direct patient care with administrative support to ensure a smooth, positive hospital experience for every individual.
Key Responsibilities
Support Registered Nurses and consultants in delivering exceptional pre- and post-operative clinical care on the ward.
Perform essential administrative duties, manage records, and handle telephone inquiries efficiently.
Provide attentive, individualized assistance to patients, maintaining strong organizational standards and effective communication.
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent healthcare qualification).
Previous healthcare support experience within an acute hospital or care setting.
Strong computer, database, and administrative skills with excellent communication abilities.
