Position: Operational Support Adviser (Fixed-Term Contract - 12 Months, Full-Time)
Location: Bupa Place, Salford Quays, Manchester, M50 2PL (Hybrid working: just 1 day per month required in the office)
Salary: £25,978 per annum + Fantastic Benefits
Contract Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Rota-based shifts between 5:30 AM – 10:00 PM, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with Bupa to recruit a customer-focused Operational Support Adviser for a 12-month fixed-term contract at Bupa Place in Salford Quays.
Working as part of a dynamic team, you will provide critical administrative and customer service support to Bupa Health Clinics, UK Insurance customers, clients, partners, and providers. By handling inquiries via telephone, internal/external webchat, and mailboxes, you will ensure a seamless experience and help customer-facing colleagues deliver exceptional standards of patient care and service.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling general administrative and customer service duties, including managing mailboxes, data entry, and raising/processing invoice payments.
Responding professionally to telephone and webchat enquiries in real time, ensuring queries are resolved fully and efficiently in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Supporting clinicians and practitioners by handling internal webchat queries, arranging appointments, and processing inventory tasks.
Adhering strictly to operational guidelines, regulatory frameworks (such as CQC), and data protection regulations (GDPR and Access to Medical Reports Act 1988).
Proactively resolving queries at first point of contact or documenting incidents/complaints through the Datix management system.
Collaborating with peers and team managers to identify continuous improvements for customer journeys and service efficiency.
Previous experience working within a customer service environment with a strong customer-first focus.
PC literate with solid working knowledge of Windows-based packages and the ability to seamlessly combine talking and typing skills.
Excellent communication and time-management skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to work independently, make sound decisions within set protocols, and adapt easily to a changing environment.
Flexibility to work across a rota pattern covering shifts between 5:30 AM and 10:00 PM (including evenings, weekends, and public holidays).
