About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency dedicated to connecting exceptional talent with market-leading brands, we are thrilled to partner with Morrisons—one of the UK's premier supermarkets—to recruit a focused and friendly Customer Assistant - Scanning for their Congleton store.
In this detailed and impactful role, you will use in-store tech to carry out activities like stock counts and gap scans, playing a vital part in keeping shelves stocked, systems up to date, and ensuring customers can always find what they are looking for. You will also receive training to support other parts of the store, such as the famous Market Street or Replenishment teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Stock Control & Scanning: Perform accurate stock counts and gap scans using advanced in-store technology to keep inventory systems fully up to date.
Shelf Availability: Ensure product availability so customers can easily find everything they need during their shopping trip.
Cross-Store Team Support: Train and support other departments across the store—including Market Street or Replenishment—stepping in to help wherever you are needed most.
Customer Service: Maintain a helpful, friendly approach, stepping up to support shoppers and resolve their queries with a positive attitude.

Safety & Process Focus: Comfortable using equipment safely and following established store procedures.
Eligibility: Must be over the school leaver's age (and over 18 where required due to health and safety regulations).
