In this vital leadership role, you will empower your team, champion exceptional customer service, and drive operational excellence across the department.
Lead and empower café colleagues to always put the customer first and deliver outstanding service.
Listen and respond proactively to customer feedback to react accordingly and improve the dining experience.
Ensure market-leading availability, quality, and high standards across the café.
Work collaboratively with other store managers to cultivate a supportive, performance-driven culture.
Efficiently manage all people routines, including scheduling, absence management, performance, and talent conversations.
Deliver targeted training to ensure team members have the capability, confidence, and flexibility to excel in their roles.
Plan resources thoroughly and take a proactive leadership role within the wider store.
To thrive in this role, you will need:
Previous experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment (retail, hospitality, service, or travel/tourism backgrounds are welcome).
Exceptional communication skills to share knowledge, best practices, and build strong stakeholder relationships.
Flexibility, adaptability to change, and the ability to challenge effectively.
A strong customer-first approach, actively listening and responding to both customers and colleagues.
