Looking for a flexible leadership role in care that fits around your lifestyle? Partnering with Barchester Healthcare, Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is seeking an experienced and dedicated Bank Residential Senior Carer to join the team at Iris Court Care Home on a casual, flexible basis.
In this role, you will provide essential cover as and when needed (such as for annual or sick leave), leading a team of care staff, administering medication, and ensuring residents receive the highest standard of person-centred support.
Pay Rate: £16.18 per hour
Hours: Bank / As and when required (Flexible casual role)
Shifts: Mixed (Days or Nights available)
Closing Date: 18 September 2026
Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, supervise, and delegate duties to a team of dedicated care staff on shift.
Support with the administration and ordering of medication.
Review, update, and maintain accurate resident care plans and risk assessments.
Liaise professionally with GPs, district nursing teams, and resident family members.
Maintain a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment while respecting the dignity and preferences of residents.
What We Are Looking For
An NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Previous hands-on experience in a residential care setting.
Proven team leadership skills and the ability to make sound, independent decisions.
A warm-hearted, compassionate disposition with a strong commitment to individualized care.
