Pay Rate: Up to £17.93 per hour
Hours: Bank / Casual (Flexible working hours to cover annual leave or sick leave as needed)

About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Barchester Healthcare to find an experienced Bank Senior Care Assistant for Port Manor Care Home.
In this flexible, leadership-focused role, you will look after the diverse needs of our residents to ensure the delivery of top-tier, person-centred care. You will supervise, mentor, and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, while also supporting the clinical team in specialized areas such as medication, care plans, assessments, or reviews. Every shift, you will champion resident dignity and help maintain a warm, vibrant, and welcoming home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants.
Assisting the clinical team with specialized tasks like medication management, assessments, and care reviews.
Ensuring personalized, high-quality care that respects individual resident dignity and preferences.
Contributing to a positive, supportive, and vibrant home atmosphere.
About You
To join Barchester as a Bank Senior Care Assistant, you will need:
An NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Specific, practical knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
