Working as a Bank Kitchen Assistant through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will support the catering team at Harton Grange in producing wholesome meals and creating a fulfilling dining experience. Beyond food preparation, you'll have wonderful opportunities to interact with residents, build genuine connections, and enhance their overall hospitality experience during daytime shifts.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
Help produce and prepare nutritious meals to ensure high standards of resident wellbeing and hospitality.
Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the kitchen and food preparation processes.
Provide flexible cover for planned or unplanned staff absences as and when required.
Engage warmly with residents to create a delightful, person-centred dining experience.
Candidate Requirements (What You'll Need)
A reliable, considerate, and caring approach to teamwork and food service.
Flexibility regarding your working patterns to support ad-hoc shift cover.
A strong eye for detail and commitment to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
Note: Formal culinary qualifications are not required—though similar experience in a commercial or care setting is helpful, full training and development opportunities will be provided!
