Housekeeper / Domestic Assistant

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is delighted to partner with a top-tier healthcare facility in Brentwood, UK, to find a dedicated Housekeeper / Domestic Assistant. In this vital role, you will help maintain a spotless, safe, and welcoming environment for all hospital patients, visitors, and staff.

Working on a flexible bank contract basis, you will manage your schedule on an ad-hoc basis to support the hospital’s operational needs. Working closely with the housekeeping team and infection control leads, you will ensure high sanitation standards across clinical and non-clinical areas without interrupting patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough room cleaning, waste disposal, linen management, and scheduled deep cleaning tasks across hospital facilities.

• Utilize modern cleaning equipment and products according to established healthcare hygiene protocols.

• Collaborate with the Infection Prevention team to maintain a safe environment and report any clinical hygiene concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience within a healthcare, domestic, or commercial environment is preferred.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact warmly with patients and colleagues.

• Motivated, organized approach with the flexibility to work ad-hoc hours as required.
