Location: Darnton Suite, Hundens Lane, Darlington, Durham, DL1 1JF (with frequent travel required across the Central Division)
Salary: Up to £43,775 per annum plus car allowance

Are you a strategic, energetic life enrichment professional looking for an influential leadership role where you can drive exceptional standards across multiple care homes?
Working as a permanent Divisional Activities Lead through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will support activity coordinator staff across the Central Division and champion a whole-home approach to resident wellbeing. In this key role, you will ensure adherence to the Care and Life Enrichment Framework, travel to homes needing support, and collaborate closely with multi-functional departments to shape outstanding resident experiences.
Provide ongoing mentorship, training, and operational support to Activity Coordinators across the division.
Conduct weekly support visits to homes identified as needing assistance and ensure effective action plans are implemented.
Lead quarterly face-to-face meetings to share best practices, fresh ideas, and lessons learned.
Forge key partnerships with local organizations and community networks to enhance life enrichment.
Analyse divisional and corporate data to track activity delivery and performance.
Help staff understand and utilize available digital tools and equipment.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, quality and regulation, nursing, dementia, and procurement teams.
GCSE level Maths and English (or equivalent).
Proven experience in delivering and providing in-person wellbeing and activities sessions.
Excellent communication skills across all levels, including with senior audiences.
A proven track record in delivering against targets under pressure.
Strong ability to work effectively within a multi-functional team.
Full UK driving licence with the ability to travel across the country, including overnight stays (essential).
