Duty Manager

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of Supportive Bridge Limited for an enthusiastic and goal-driven Duty Manager to join their team at Cottingley Manor Fitness & Wellbeing Club in Cottingley, UK.

In this role, you will oversee daily club operations, guide shift staff, build strong member relationships, and drive sales targets. You will also maintain facility safety by covering lifeguard breaks, which requires high-standard swimming skills and a willingness to complete site-based training.

Role Description

As a Duty Manager, you will take ownership of the club's daily operational standards, including opening and closing routines, member engagement, and health and safety management. You will guide prospective members through club tours, contribute to sales goals, and ensure a safe, high-quality environment for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day club operations, executing opening/closing procedures and swift health and safety management.

• Support membership sales goals by leading tours for prospective members and highlighting unique facility benefits.

• Foster high levels of member satisfaction, lead team members by example, and maintain swimming proficiency to cover lifeguard breaks.

Requirements

• Demonstrable sales and customer service experience, ideally within a leisure, hospitality, or commercial setting.

• Excellent communication, team leadership, and problem-solving skills with a proactive "can-do" mindset.

• High-standard swimming ability and willingness to undergo site-based lifeguard training.
