About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Staff Nurse (RMN, RNLD, or RGN) on a permanent basis on behalf of Gregory House in Workington, a specialist Learning Disability and Autism service providing care and support to 22 adults with high support needs and continuing challenging behaviour.
In this vital clinical role, you will ensure residents receive high-quality, effective, and compassionate nursing care within a robust, structured, and least-restrictive setting. You will take full responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, provide mentorship to team members, and maintain accurate clinical records while helping individuals work toward greater independence.
What You Will Need
Qualifications: A relevant nursing qualification (RMN, RNLD, or RGN) with a current, active NMC registration.
Skills: Strong team-working skills, a high level of self-motivation, excellent clinical judgment, and a flexible, positive approach.
Attributes: Naturally caring, compassionate, and committed to high-quality, evidence-based care practice.
Proximity & Attitude: A commitment to supporting vulnerable adults, and ideally living within a manageable commute of Workington (CA14 3PD).
