As a Senior Care Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will play a crucial, leadership-driven role in running a unit. You will guide, mentor, and nurture a team of Care Assistants while ensuring clinical excellence and high-quality personal care.
Key Responsibilities
Take day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, including managing team shift handovers and leading Care Assistants.
Handle critical clinical duties such as issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records to support CQC compliance.
Help train, supervise, and mentor new staff members so they feel fully welcomed and supported from day one.
Build strong, meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and external healthcare professionals like GPs and District Nurses.
Assist residents directly with a range of personal care duties and daily needs.
What We Are Looking For
Completed—or actively working towards—an NVQ Level 3 in Care (full support to complete your qualification is provided if needed).
A motivated, positive, and approachable individual with great interpersonal skills who thrives in a close-knit team environment.
Previous experience in a senior care role, a strong understanding of its rewards and challenges, and an unyielding passion for making a real difference to people's lives with dignity and kindness.
