Lifeguard (Bank)

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is seeking an attentive Lifeguard to join the team at a premier Fitness & Wellbeing facility in Wokingham, UK. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining safety, supervision, and high standards across all wetside facilities, ensuring members and visitors enjoy a pleasant, secure experience.

Working on a flexible bank contract basis, you will cover shifts on an ad-hoc schedule tailored to suit operational needs and your personal availability. You will maintain vigilance while fostering a welcoming, helpful, and professional atmosphere throughout the pool and spa areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively supervise members and visitors using wetside facilities, including the swimming pool, spa, sauna, and steam room.

• Maintain constant alertness to ensure strict compliance with Pool Safety Guidelines and respond immediately to potential hazards or incidents.

• Deliver exceptional customer service, greeting visitors warmly and maintaining a clean, safe, and relaxing environment.

Requirements

• Valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent, with up-to-date ongoing training records.

• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills with a positive, professional attitude.

• High level of vigilance, attention to detail, and readiness to handle emergency response procedures.
