About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Morrisons to recruit a dynamic and high-energy Night Manager for their Devizes store. Operating as the "engine room" of the store, you will lead the night shift from the shop floor, driving efficiency and ensuring that shelves are fully stocked, counters are prepped, and the store is 100% ready for customers every morning.
Key Responsibilities
Overnight Leadership: Inspire, coach, and support a dedicated night shift team while keeping morale high.
Store Presentation: Establish immaculate store setups so daytime teams can hit the ground running.
Operational Excellence: Drive high-volume stock replenishment, labour efficiency, and smooth stock flow.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce rigorous Health & Safety standards, store security, and cold-chain temperature controls.
Stock Integrity: Manage inventory accuracy, minimize shrink and waste, and maximize yield.
What We Are Looking For
Operational Expertise: A strong grasp of stock control, labour productivity, and shift planning.
Proven Leadership: Experience managing teams in high-volume retail, logistics, or hospitality (overnight management experience is a distinct advantage).
Hands-On Approach: A resilient leader who sets the pace from the front lines of the shop floor.
Communication Skills: Capable of boosting night-team motivation and delivering clear handovers to daytime managers.
