About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker for the Aylesbury Supported Living Service.
In this role, you will make a real, daily difference in the lives of our residents. Whether you are assisting with daily routines and personal care, offering companionship, or joining in on fun activities, you will play a vital role in helping residents lead happy, fulfilled, and independent lives. You will also assist with light household duties to keep living spaces clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
Person-Centred Care: Support residents with personal care, daily routines, and encouragement to foster independence.
Companionship & Activities: Engage residents in fun activities, hobbies, and meaningful conversations to create lasting memories.
Household Support: Maintain clean and tidy living spaces, involving residents where appropriate.
Relationship Building: Act as a positive role model, establishing warm and trusting relationships with residents and their families.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: Ideally holding, or willing to work towards, a Diploma/NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Experience: A proven track record in elderly care and a genuine commitment to maintaining high standards of support.
Personality: A positive, enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to connect with others.
