At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are dedicated to matching focused, reliable individuals with stable, reward-driven careers. We are delighted to partner with Lidl to find outstanding Warehouse Operatives for their Regional Distribution Centre in Severn Beach.
As a Warehouse Operative, you are the backbone of store operations. Working in either the Chiller or Fruit & Veg departments, you will make sure stores receive the right stock at the right time. Guided by voice-picking instructions through a headset, you will work independently to pack, stack, and secure orders. If you take pride in physical, hands-on work, enjoy hitting goals, and want a role where your efforts directly keep local communities fed, this is your bridge to a brilliant logistics career.
Voice Picking: Carefully listen to and swiftly follow picking instructions sent through your headset.
Handle Diverse Stock: Pack and organize fresh produce, dairy, chiller items, and frozen goods.
Secure Deliveries: Make sure all outgoing pallets are perfectly stacked, stable, and secure for transit.
Conduct Stock Checks: Help with general stock-checking tasks and immediately report any damaged items to your manager.
Work Safely & Independently: Take ownership of your daily targets while maintaining strict Health and Safety guidelines.
Prior experience in a fast-paced environment (warehouse, retail, or hospitality experience is great, but not essential as full training is provided!).
The drive, focus, and energy to consistently meet your daily targets.
Sharp attention to detail, especially when working quickly.
High self-motivation and a reliable, positive attitude.
Physical fitness to comfortable navigate a warehouse and handle stock.
