Shift Pattern: 2 days per week (Sunday and Friday only, 05:00 – 15:45)

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Greencore (following their combination with Bakkavor) to find experienced leadership and operational talent. Greencore is one of the UK’s leading convenience food creators, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots.
At their major Manton Wood facility in Worksop—where a team of around 1,700 colleagues produces sandwiches and wraps for top retailers like Co-op, Asda, Morrisons, Boots, Aldi, and Lidl—we are currently seeking a proactive and people-focused Production Line Coordinator for a part-time day role. The site also offers fantastic amenities including a free on-site gym, a hot-food restaurant, and a staff company shop.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Support: Act as the primary point of contact for your team, meeting and greeting colleagues, coordinating task rotations, managing breaks, and supporting skills development.
Safety & Pre-Start Checks: Ensure pre-start safety checks are completed, report near misses, monitor team welfare, and uphold strict health, safety, and environmental standards.
Production & Performance: Drive production in line with the agreed plan, capture key performance data, troubleshoot machinery or material issues, and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
What We Are Looking For
Communication & People Skills: Confident, clear communication with the ability to engage, influence, and motivate a team.
Experience & Mindset: A background in working to deliver production plans, meet KPIs, and implement improvements within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Technical Readiness: A solid understanding of health and safety practices, alongside confidence in using data and software systems for record-keeping and traceability.
