As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit a compassionate and dedicated Relief Care Assistant for Sir Aubrey Ward House. Located in Marlow town centre, this warm, spacious, and cheerful residential care home features 60 fully furnished rooms across four wings, complete with lovely first-floor balconies and an enclosed courtyard garden.
As a relief care assistant, you will make a real, daily difference in the lives of our residents. From supporting daily routines and personal care (such as washing, bathing, and toileting) to providing genuine companionship and sharing laughs during activities, you will help our residents live happy, fulfilled, and dignified lives.
Person-Centred Care: Support residents with personal care routines while ensuring their dignity, independence, and comfort are respected at all times.
Companionship & Activities: Engage residents in daily activities, outdoor events, and meaningful interactions that brighten their day.
Relationship Building: Form warm, lasting bonds with residents and their families, becoming a trusted member of our extended care family.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a supportive team, communicating clearly to maintain a positive living and working environment.
Experience: Both experienced care assistants and those completely new to the care sector are welcome to apply! We provide comprehensive induction training and ongoing professional development.
Personality: A kind, patient, and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for caring for others.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
