Location: Sawley Distribution Centre (Transferring to Bardon, LE67 after up to 9 months)

Salary: £18.66 per hour

⭐ Pay Premiums: Applies to hours worked between 10pm & 4am + an additional 8.5% premium for all freezer hours worked!

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week | 5 out of 7 days (including weekends)

Shift Times: Starts from 8:00 PM (end times vary based on business needs, typically 7–8 hour shifts)

📌 Important Location Notice: Successful candidates will initially train and support operations at the Sawley Distribution Centre for up to 9 months. Following this period, you will transfer to the new Bardon Distribution Centre (LE67). You must have your own reliable transport to reach both sites before applying.

About the Role

Are you physical, hardworking, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is seeking dedicated Warehouse Pickers (Freezer Nightshift) to join our partner's distribution operations.

Working in a cold freezer environment, you will be at the heart of the supply chain. Guided by a voice-headset system, you'll accurately pick products, operate equipment safely, and keep store-bound stock moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Accuracy & Picking: Accurately select product items using a headset guidance system to consistently hit picking targets.

• Paperwork & Verification: Carefully follow instructions and double-check order paperwork for high stock precision.

• Equipment Handling: Safely and efficiently operate Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) (full training provided).

• Safety & Standards: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized freezer workspace while working at pace.

What We’re Looking For

• Physical Capability & Resilience: Comfortable working in sub-zero freezer environments and doing heavy, physical work on night shifts.

• Attention to Detail: High accuracy when selecting and verifying products.

• Reliability & Attitude: Dependable, flexible, and equipped with a strong "can-do" mindset.

• Commute Readiness: Must have your own transport to commute to Sawley initially, and later to Bardon (LE67).
