The Opportunity

At Supportive Bridge Staffing, we believe every role plays a vital part in a business's success. We are currently recruiting a conscientious, thorough, and reliable Store Cleaner to join the team at a major, fast-growing retail store in Southend-on-Sea.

In this role, you are an essential part of the store's daily operations. Every sweep of your brush helps give customers the exceptional shopping experience they deserve. From keeping the shop floor tidy to ensuring hygiene standards are perfectly maintained, you’ll take immense pride in keeping things looking their best for both customers and your colleagues.

What You’ll Earn & Receive

• Hourly Rate: £13.45 - £13.65 per hour

• Premium Pay: An additional £2.00/hr for Bank Holidays and £3.50/hr for night shifts (if applicable)

• Holiday: 30–35 days of annual leave (pro rata)

What You’ll Do

• Maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards across the entire store floor, communal spaces, and staff areas.

• Ensure a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for everyone who walks through the doors.

• Work independently and efficiently during AM shifts to complete your daily cleaning checklist.

• Safely operate and look after cleaning equipment and supplies.

• Passion to do the best job possible for your store and team.

• Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance is beneficial, but not essential—full training is provided!
