About the Role
Are you friendly, reliable, and looking for a varied role that gets you out into your local community? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Co-op to recruit a dedicated Customer Team Member - Home Delivery Driver for their store in Kirkwall.
In this role, you’ll be the welcoming face of Co-op on the road, delivering customers’ shopping straight to their doors and making their day a little easier. When you're not out on deliveries, you'll work hands-on in-store picking and packing orders, serving on the tills, and restocking shelves to keep things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Deliveries: Safely and considerately drive delivery vehicles to bring customers' orders straight to their doorsteps while providing exceptional, friendly service.
In-Store Operations: Support the store team by picking and packing customer orders, serving on tills, and restocking shelves.
Vehicle Safety: Ensure safe operations by carrying out routine vehicle checks and following safety guidelines.
Community & Membership: Act as a positive ambassador for Co-op, supporting your local community and promoting Co-op membership.
What We Are Looking For
Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years, with no more than 6 penalty points.
Customer Skills: A friendly, helpful approach with a genuine passion for supporting customers and strong communication skills.
Flexibility & Working Pattern: A mix of opening, closing, and mid-day shifts, with flexibility across the week including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift (either Friday after 6:00 PM, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday).
