Role Overview
As a Chemical Process Operator, you will play a vital role in supporting the production of high-quality printed cans within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be directly responsible for washers, water treatment, and filtration systems, conducting running repairs, and ensuring equipment operates safely within specified parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain can washers, water treatment systems, and filtration units.
Conduct running repairs and necessary equipment adjustments to maintain performance parameters.
Assist in operational trials, equipment installation, commissioning, and size changeovers.
Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, environmental protocols, and continuous improvement practices.
Key Requirements & Qualifications:
Essential: Level 3 Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a mechanical or chemical discipline.
Experience working with chemicals within a production, manufacturing, or engineering setting.
Familiarity with can washers and water treatment processes is highly desirable.
Strong commitment to health and safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
