About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Branston to recruit committed, detail-focused Senior Forklift Drivers / Raw Materials Operatives for both A and B Shift teams at our Nocton site.
Working dynamically within the Celox and tipping areas, this is a vital leadership and operational role. You will collect and report accurate operational data to support both commercial and operational teams, acting as the primary point of contact for tipping area forklift drivers while keeping lines running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Store & Stock Control: Take ownership and full responsibility for FIFO stores, the reject area, and strict internal/external box control systems—coordinating with production to avoid single boxes and reduce changeovers.
Team Leadership & Point of Contact: Act as the first point of contact and lead all tipping area forklift truck drivers, conducting regular team briefs and ensuring continuous training and compliance with company policies.
Operational Efficiency: Provide an effective, seamless service to tipper drivers and ensure lines are continuously fed with the correct product to minimize downtime.
Data & Equipment Management: Accurately weigh and record second-pass material, conduct routine equipment checks (such as weigh scales), and promptly report faults or issues regarding FLTs and tippers.
Hygiene & Safety: Follow strict hygiene schedules to keep the area clean, tidy, and "visit ready" at all times, ensuring absolute adherence to health and safety regulations and reporting near misses.
Cross-Department Support: Support other departments when required, including providing forklift truck driver cover and taking escalations to management.
