We are currently recruiting a dynamic Complex Healthcare Support Worker to work on a 1:1 basis with a gentleman in his 30s living in his own home near Edenbridge.

He is passionate about fitness, physical wellbeing, and theatre, and spends his days visiting the gym, swimming pool, and art sessions, or enjoying comedy shows and meeting friends. If you are enthusiastic about fitness, adaptable, and eager to build a meaningful professional relationship, this is the ideal role for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Active Lifestyle & Community Support: Support the client across various settings, including gym sessions, swimming, trampolining, yoga, art sessions, shopping trips, theatre performances, and social meetups.

• Specialist Clinical Care: Deliver essential clinical support for quadriplegic cerebral palsy, including PEG feeding, medication administration, and safe moving and handling.

• Communication Support: Assist with communication via eye movement or typing on an iPad.

• Empowering Independence: Help the client achieve personal goals, pursue fitness and wellbeing interests, and maintain a high quality of life with a strong attention to detail.

Candidate Requirements

To excel in this specialized agency placement, you will need:

• An active, energetic disposition and a willingness to get stuck in—specifically being happy to swim and support with gym equipment.

• A strong personality, a good sense of humour, and the ability to hold meaningful, engaging conversations.

• A calm, observant, patient, and self-motivated approach with meticulous attention to detail.
