We are proud to partner with Circle Health Group—Britain’s leading independent healthcare provider—to recruit a dynamic and strategic Director of Operations for the Senior Management Team at The Lincoln Hospital.
Lead the delivery of non-clinical operational services, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality support to clinical functions.
Maintain daily visible leadership across hospital departments and spearhead daily communication cell meetings to foster collaboration and problem-solving.
Ensure all operational departments hit agreed service levels and performance KPIs, including strict compliance with NHS RTT 18-week standards.
Drive workforce efficiency, manage budgets effectively, and uphold a robust governance framework for non-clinical services utilizing the Riskman system.
Cultivate a high-performing operations team anchored in accountability, continuous learning, and growth.
Ensure absolute compliance with health and safety legislation, company policies, and NHS Standard Contract requirements.
Partner with the Executive Director to identify and implement innovative new services, care pathways, and revenue-generating opportunities.
Experience: Proven track record in a senior operational management role within a healthcare or heavily regulated environment.
Qualifications: Educated to degree level or holding a postgraduate leadership/management qualification (or extensive management experience with a willingness to undertake professional leadership training).
Skills & Expertise: Strong leadership, communication, and performance management skills; robust financial and budget management expertise.
Desirable Criteria: Understanding of NHS RTT standards, NHS Standard Contracts, and private healthcare pathways; familiarity with Lean/continuous improvement methodologies, estates/facilities management, and digital reporting tools.
