Working as a Bank Residential Senior Carer through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will lead care staff on shift, oversee medication administration and ordering, review care plans and risk assessments, and liaise closely with GPs, nursing teams, and families. Your leadership will ensure residents receive top-tier, person-centred care in a warm and vibrant environment.
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of care staff on shift, delegating duties and supporting training.
Support with the safe administering and ordering of medication.
Review, update, and implement resident care plans and detailed risk assessments.
Liaise professionally with GPs, district nursing teams, and resident family members.
Uphold resident dignity and help foster a warm, welcoming environment across flexible day or night shifts.
NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Previous experience working within a residential care setting.
Proven team leadership skills and the ability to make confident, appropriate decisions for resident wellbeing.
A warm-hearted, compassionate, and person-centred approach.
