What You Will Be Doing

• Support the Ward Manager to lead the nursing team, providing high-quality care and support to women over 18 with complex emotional and mental health problems.

• Deliver clinical leadership, supervision, and guidance to foster a unified service and engaged workforce.

• Uphold and improve clinical standards in accordance with the Clinical Governance framework, utilizing and supervising nursing staff effectively.

• Act as an expert resource on nursing care and take charge of the ward in the Ward Manager's absence.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• A relevant professional nursing qualification with active NMC registration.

• Relevant clinical experience in a similar mental health or complex care environment.

• Proven leadership track record with strong communication and team-building skills.

• A positive, naturally caring attitude with an absolute commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care.

Where You Will Be Working

Spring Wood Lodge in Guiseley, Leeds (LS20 9PQ) supports women over the age of 18 who have complex emotional and mental health problems associated with significant risk behaviours, typically with a diagnosis of personality disorder or severe mental illness. The service focuses on active rehabilitation to help patients achieve sustainable discharge.
