The Role

As a Care Assistant, your focus will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure seamless and continuous support for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting residents with all aspects of personal hygiene and care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
Recognizing and understanding clinical risk areas in residents—such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, and signs of infection—and escalating identified risks in a timely manner.
Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, always respecting individual dignity and uniqueness.
Practicing safe systems of work across a wide range of care duties.

Requirements:
The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Strong initiative and a respectful attitude toward residents and colleagues.
An efficient worker capable of following reasonable instructions from team members.
Adaptability and flexibility to cover responsibilities at short notice.
Requirements for Employment: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a DBS Disclosure check (the cost of which is fully covered by Avery Healthcare).
