In this vital clinical leadership role, you will take charge of night shifts on a rolling rota including alternate weekends. You will manage medication administration via the PCS system, lead care planning, and oversee nursing care for residents living with dementia and complex needs.
Role Description As a Registered Nurse (Night Shift), you will take overall responsibility for shift leadership, clinical governance, and resident well-being during night hours. Working collaboratively with external multidisciplinary teams and care colleagues, you will oversee complex clinical needs while ensuring strict adherence to safeguarding and infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as Nurse in Charge during night shifts, managing medication administration via PCS, care planning, and shift management.
Perform complex clinical procedures including syringe driver management, catheterization, blood sampling, peg feeding, and stoma care.
Lead care delivery for residents with complex needs and dementia, upholding the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
Requirements
Nursing qualification recognized by the UK NMC with a valid UK NMC PIN (RGN, RMN, or RNLD).
Strong clinical decision-making capabilities, experience with Care Planning systems (PCS preferred), and physical capability to support resident mobility.
Valid right to work in the UK and ability to commute reliably to Timperley, UK.
