Position: Medical Records Officer (Permanent Role)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with The Meriden Hospital in Coventry—part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading independent healthcare provider—to recruit a meticulous Medical Records Officer for their Medical Records department.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours a week on a flexible shift pattern. In this essential administrative role, you will prepare, manage, and secure patient medical records, guaranteeing that clinical teams have prompt access to complete and accurate information for upcoming clinics, admissions, and procedures.
Record Preparation: Prepare comprehensive patient files and medical notes for upcoming clinics, admissions, diagnostic investigations, and procedures.
Documentation Management: Ensure all required documentation—such as consent forms, test results, and referral letters—is accurately filed and easily accessible.
Retrieval & Tracking: Locate and retrieve physical and electronic patient notes efficiently upon request from clinical, administrative, or legal teams.
Confidentiality: Handle sensitive patient information and records with the absolute highest standards of confidentiality, discretion, and data protection.
System Navigation: Utilise electronic hospital platforms (such as PAS, EMR, or EPR systems) to accurately log, search, and update patient data.
Clinical Support: Partner with clinicians and administrative staff to ensure seamless coordination of hospital record-keeping functions.
Experience: Previous administrative background, ideally gained within a healthcare, medical, or records-focused environment.
Governance Knowledge: A solid understanding of data confidentiality, GDPR compliance, and information governance protocols.
Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, high accuracy, and robust organisational skills with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
Technical Skills: Comfortable working with various IT systems, databases, and electronic record platforms.
Interpersonal Skills: Professional, respectful manner with strong communication and teamworking abilities.
Competitive Pay: Starting salary of up to £24,947.00 per year.
