Join the multidisciplinary team at Adderley Green in Stoke-on-Trent, where you will work alongside Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists (SALT), and Dietitians to deliver planned therapy programmes for individuals affected by neurological or mental health conditions.

What You Will Be Doing

• Assist qualified therapists in delivering planned therapy and rehabilitation programmes to restore service users' functioning (mobility, self-care, productivity, and leisure).

• Carry out therapeutic interventions in both 1:1 and group settings, building strong rapport to increase engagement and promote recovery.

• Prepare and support individual and group therapeutic activities while ensuring sessions are properly observed, reported, and recorded.

• Participate in evaluating service provisions and making necessary under-supervision adjustments to care plans based on changing abilities.

• Maintain accurate computerised/written documentation and communicate effectively across the multidisciplinary team.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• GNVQ Level 3 qualification, or a strong willingness to undergo training and development.

• Previous experience working within a care or therapy environment.

• The ability to understand and follow instructions accurately, learn new skills quickly, and complete in-service training programs successfully.

• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• A strong team player with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and helping individuals regain maximum independence.

Adderley Green is a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service in Stoke-on-Trent for adults over 18 with complex neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. The facility features extensive resources and a full interdisciplinary team working collaboratively to deliver person-centred care, allowing residents to undergo structured reviews and work toward targeted, monitored recovery goals.
