Are you an accomplished chef looking for a flexible, high-impact role where you can travel, lead kitchen teams, and elevate dining standards across multiple homes? Avery Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Regional Bank Chef to support daily culinary operations, manage kitchen teams, and deliver nutritionally balanced, premium meals within agreed budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing nutritionally balanced, varied, and appetising menu plans for Home Manager approval, taking special dietary needs into account and retaining thorough records.
Placing food orders with approved suppliers within appropriate authority levels, maintaining stock control, and managing provisions within budget limits.
Supervising and directing kitchen and host team members, providing instructions and demonstrations on simple food preparation to unqualified staff.
Ensuring complete understanding and adherence to the Avery Food Safety Management system and maintaining 5-star hygiene standards.

Requirements:
Proven experience managing a busy kitchen with a minimum of 5 years' culinary experience.
Strong knowledge of Health and Safety, current food safety legislation, COSHH, and maintaining 5-star cleaning standards.
Relevant catering qualifications (NVQ Level 3 in Food Production, City and Guilds 706-1/706-2) and training in IDDSI / texture-modified diets.
Excellent teamwork and leadership qualities.
Requirements for Employment: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a DBS Disclosure check (the cost of which is fully covered by Avery Healthcare).
