Role Overview
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a hands-on technical role maintaining and optimizing electrical systems across the plant to ensure minimal disruption to high-speed manufacturing. You will work closely with the engineering team to resolve faults, implement innovative solutions, and keep production running at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical fault-finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance across plant equipment.
Install, modify, and optimize automated manufacturing and electrical systems.
Analyze line performance and update PLC software to improve efficiency and output.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements & Qualifications:
Essential: Level 3 Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering (with an electrical bias).
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
Working knowledge of fault-finding techniques, basic programming, and experience with Allen Bradley PLCs are advantageous.
